We were both born in Porto and currently use it as a base for our digital nomad lives (a lot less nomad with all that has been going on in the world). Getting from Porto to the Douro Valley is quite easy which means that over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of visiting it plenty of times. After a lot of time spent in the region, and a lot of research for our own trips, we’ve amassed the personal knowledge to create this complete travel guide on the best places to visit and the best things to do in the Douro Valley, Portugal.

Some experiences are in almost every traveler’s bucket list, and visiting the desert is one of them. There is something unique and almost otherworldly about imagining ourselves in the middle of the infinite dunes: the sun above us, the finest desert sand beneath our feet, and an unforgettable landscape all around us. Our desert trip in Morocco was one of the most magical travel experiences we’ve ever had, and through this guide we hope to inspire you to plan your own and turn your dream into a reality as well.

We don’t have any solutions or magic cures, or even insightful knowledge to add on the subject, but we felt the need to write this post. Our goal was always to create a personal blog, and not just a site with travel tips. With that in mind, we created recap and favorite posts, but eventually, those stopped and we shifted the more personal content to our Instagram account (which maybe you’ll want to follow if you don’t want to wait another year for a life update, oops). However, with all that is going on, it didn’t feel right to just continue posting “business as usual” on the blog without at least acknowledging what is going on.

We used our two weeks as digital nomads in Morocco to try out the Water-to-Go bottles and their unique filtration system. We were able to remain hydrated without wasting disposable plastic water bottles, as the filter makes it safe to drink tap water in Morocco. Read all about our experience below.

Coworking in Morocco is a great choice for digital nomads searching for a base. We stayed at Dar Digital Nomad in Ouarzazate for two weeks, and in this post, we’ll share all about this space and our experience. This coworking and coliving space is located near the heart of the city and has everything you need for a great stay.
